  • What is Drone Videography?
    Drone Videography is the art of capturing high-quality video footage from an aerial perspective using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) equipped with advanced cameras.   • How long should I expect to wait for the final product?
    On completion of the project, we aim to have most projects completed and delivered within 7 business days. this is also subject to the size of the project. This will be discussed and a timeline provided pre project.

  • How long does a drone session take?
    Drone videography sessions typically range from 1 to 3 hours, depending on the complexity of the shots, the location, and the specific project requirements. For larger or more intricate projects, additional time may be necessary to ensure every detail is captured to perfection.
  • What safety protocols are followed during a project?
    We take pride in upholding the highest professional standards in all aspects of our work. Comprehensive risk assessments will be carried out both prior to and upon arrival as well as dynamic risk assessments throughout the project to ensure the safety of the pilots, observers and general public.
  • Can you fly a drone next to an airport?
    No, you cannot fly a drone next to an airport without permission.You must stay away from airports, airfields, and spaceports, and avoid flying in their Flight Restriction Zones (FRZs)
  • Do I need any permission to have a drone at my location?
    Any permissions of any sort to fly a drone at your location will be dealt with by us before the project starts. We will also check with local authorities, the police, and other organisations to ensure we're following all the rules required to operate.
  • What resolution do the drones use?
    Our FPV drones are equipped with state-of-the-art 1080p and 4K cameras, delivering stunning high-definition footage with exceptional clarity and smooth stabilisation. Perfect for capturing professional-quality visuals, whether it's dynamic action shots or breathtaking cinematic scenes.
  • How high can you fly a drone in the uk?
    UK CAA guidelines stipulate a maximum altitude of 120m (400ft). Higher altitudes can be achieved however this requires additional time and prior approval.
  • Can you fly in the rain?
    Due to exposed electric points on the drone and water on the lens that may ruin the shot we unfortunately cannot fly in the rain. We will be flexible to find a suitable day!
  • Can drones fly in the wind?
    For the best results we recommend flying in wind under 15mph, however, our drones are capable of wind speeds up to 21mph.
  • Does the sun effect the drone footage?
    Yes, the sun can affect the lens causing glare and optical effects. However, this is a common optical phenomenon and the camera can still be used. Lens covers/ filters can be used acting as sunglasses to create an enhanced shot.
  • What distance can a drone fly out to?
    We are able to fly our drones up to 500m away from where the pilot is standing, although visual line of sight must be maintained at all times.
  • Can Drones be used for indoor and outdoor events?
    Drones are ideal for capturing stunning outdoor views and delivering smooth, cinematic shots indoors, provided the space allows. Whether it’s a large outdoor festival or an indoor sporting event, drone videography adds a dynamic and professional touch to any setting.
  • Can you fly at events?
    Yes! For crowds under 1,000 people we need to stay at least 50m away and cannot fly over anyone not in our control, for crowds over 1,000 people this distance increases to 150m.
